³⁴ Has any god ever tried to take for himself one nation out of another nation,^(A) by testings,^(B) by signs^(C) and wonders,^(D) by war, by a mighty hand and an outstretched arm,^(E) or by great and awesome deeds,^(F) like all the things the Lord your God did for you in Egypt before your very eyes?

²¹ tell him: “We were slaves of Pharaoh in Egypt, but the Lord brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand.^{(A) 22} Before our eyes the Lord sent signs and wonders—great and terrible—on Egypt and Pharaoh and his whole household.

⁵¹ And on that very day the Lord brought the Israelites out of Egypt^(A) by their divisions.^(B)
