16 so that you do not become corrupt(A) and make for yourselves an idol,(B) an image of any shape, whether formed like a man or a woman,
16 Lest ye corrupt yourselves, and make you a graven image, the similitude of any figure, the likeness of male or female,
17 or like any animal on earth or any bird that flies in the air,(A)
17 The likeness of any beast that is on the earth, the likeness of any winged fowl that flieth in the air,
20 They exchanged their glorious God(A) for an image of a bull, which eats grass.
20 Thus they changed their glory into the similitude of an ox that eateth grass.
11 Has a nation ever changed its gods? (Yet they are not gods(A) at all.)But my people have exchanged their glorious(B) God for worthless idols.
11 Hath a nation changed their gods, which are yet no gods? but my people have changed their glory for that which doth not profit.
29 “Therefore since we are God’s offspring, we should not think that the divine being is like gold or silver or stone—an image made by human design and skill.(A)
29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.
