Deuteronomy 28:37

New International Version

³⁷You will become a thing of horror,^(A) a byword^(B) and an object of ridicule^(C) among all the peoples where the Lord will drive you.^(D)

³⁷And thou shalt become an astonishment, a proverb, and a byword, among all nations whither the Lord shall lead thee.

⁶“Do not prophesy,” their prophets say.
“Do not prophesy about these things;
disgrace^(A) will not overtake us.^(B)”

⁶Prophesy ye not, say they to them that prophesy: they shall not prophesy to them, that they shall not take shame.
