New International Version
25 The Lord will cause you to be defeated(A) before your enemies. You will come at them from one direction but flee from them in seven,(B) and you will become a thing of horror(C) to all the kingdoms on earth.(D)

Syria and Israel Defeat Judah(A)
5 Therefore (B)the Lord his God delivered him into the hand of the king of Syria. They (C)defeated him, and carried away a great multitude of them as captives, and brought them to Damascus. Then he was also delivered into the hand of the king of Israel, who defeated him with a great slaughter. 6 For (D)Pekah the son of Remaliah killed one hundred and twenty thousand in Judah in one day, all valiant men, (E)because they had forsaken the Lord God of their fathers. 7 Zichri, a mighty man of Ephraim, killed Maaseiah the king’s son, Azrikam the officer over the house, and Elkanah who was second to the king. 8 And the children of Israel carried away captive of their (F)brethren two hundred thousand women, sons, and daughters; and they also took away much [a]spoil from them, and brought the spoil to Samaria.

2 Chronicles 28:5-8
New International Version
5 Therefore the Lord his God delivered him into the hands of the king of Aram.(A) The Arameans defeated him and took many of his people as prisoners and brought them to Damascus.
He was also given into the hands of the king of Israel, who inflicted heavy casualties on him. 6 In one day Pekah(B) son of Remaliah killed a hundred and twenty thousand soldiers in Judah(C)—because Judah had forsaken the Lord, the God of their ancestors. 7 Zikri, an Ephraimite warrior, killed Maaseiah the king’s son, Azrikam the officer in charge of the palace, and Elkanah, second to the king. 8 The men of Israel took captive from their fellow Israelites who were from Judah(D) two hundred thousand wives, sons and daughters. They also took a great deal of plunder, which they carried back to Samaria.(E)
