Deuteronomy 17:12-14

12 Any man who acts presumptuously by not listening to the priest, who presides and serves the Lord your God there, or by not listening to the judge, that man is condemned to die. In that way you will purge the evil from Israel. 13 Then all the people will hear and fear and not act presumptuously anymore.
The King
14 When you have entered the land that the Lord your God is giving you, and you have taken possession of it and settled in it, and you say, “I am determined to set a king over me, like all the nations that are around me,”

New International Version
12 Anyone who shows contempt(A) for the judge or for the priest who stands ministering(B) there to the Lord your God is to be put to death.(C) You must purge the evil from Israel.(D) 13 All the people will hear and be afraid, and will not be contemptuous again.(E)

14 When you enter the land the Lord your God is giving you and have taken possession(F) of it and settled in it,(G) and you say, “Let us set a king over us like all the nations around us,”(H)
