Deuteronomy 1:2-4
International Standard Version
2 It takes eleven days to travel[a] from Horeb to Kadesh-barnea via Mount Seir.[b] 3 On the first day of the eleventh month,[c] in the fortieth year, Moses spoke to the Israelis about everything that the Lord had commanded him concerning them. 4 This took place[d] after he defeated Sihon, king of the Amorites, who lived in Heshbon and Og, king of Bashan, who lived in Ashtaroth at Edrei.

3 In the fortieth year,(E) on the first day of the eleventh month,(F) Moses proclaimed(G) to the Israelites all that the Lord had commanded him concerning them. 4 This was after he had defeated Sihon(H) king of the Amorites,(I) who reigned in Heshbon,(J) and at Edrei had defeated Og(K) king of Bashan, who reigned in Ashtaroth.(L)
