⁸ I considered the horns, and behold, ^(A)there came up among them another horn, a little one, ^(B)before which three of the first horns were plucked up by the roots. And behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of a man, and ^(C)a mouth speaking great things.

¹¹ “I looked then because of the sound of ^(A)the great words that the horn was speaking. And as I looked, ^(B)the beast was killed, and its body destroyed ^(C)and given over to be burned with fire.

^20 (A)and about the ten horns that were on its head, and the other horn that came up and before which three of them fell, the horn that had eyes and a mouth that spoke great things, and that seemed greater than its companions.

³⁶ “And the king shall ^(A)do as he wills. ^(B)He shall exalt himself and magnify himself above every god, ^(C)and shall speak astonishing things against ^(D)the God of gods. ^(E)He shall prosper ^(F)till the indignation is accomplished; for what is decreed shall be done.

⁴ who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, ^(A)proclaiming himself to be God.
