13 you who rejoice in Lo-debar,[a]
    who say, (A)“Have we not by our own strength
    captured Karnaim[b] for ourselves?”
14 “For behold, (B)I will raise up against you a nation,
    O house of Israel,” declares the Lord, the God of hosts;
“and they shall oppress you from (C)Lebo-hamath
    to the Brook of (D)the Arabah.”

13 you who rejoice in the conquest of Lo Debar[a]
    and say, “Did we not take Karnaim[b] by our own strength?(A)”

14 For the Lord God Almighty declares,
    “I will stir up a nation(B) against you, Israel,
that will oppress you all the way
    from Lebo Hamath(C) to the valley of the Arabah.(D)”
