3 For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for you Gentiles—

Walk in Unity

4 I, therefore, the prisoner ^[a]of the Lord, ^[b]beseech you to ^(A)walk worthy of the calling with which you were called,

²⁰ for which ^(A)I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

Not Ashamed of the Gospel

^8 (A)Therefore do not be ashamed of ^(B)the testimony of our Lord, nor of me ^(C)His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the gospel according to the power of God,

¹⁶ The Lord grant mercy to the ^(A)household of Onesiphorus, for he often refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain;

¹⁰ I appeal to you for my son ^(A)Onesimus, whom I have begotten while in my chains,

¹³ whom I wished to keep with me, that on your behalf he might minister to me in my chains for the gospel.
