⁴¹ So then, those who had received his word were baptized; and that day there were added about three thousand ^[a](A)souls.

⁹ obtaining as ^(A)the outcome of your faith, the salvation of ^[a]your souls.

²² Since you have ^(A)purified your souls ^(B)in obedience to the truth for a ^(C)sincere love of the brothers and sisters, fervently love one another from ^[a]the heart,

²⁵ For you were ^(A)continually straying like sheep, but now you have returned to the ^(B)Shepherd and ^[a]Guardian of your souls.

¹⁹ Therefore, those also who suffer according to ^(A)the will of God are to entrust their souls to a faithful Creator in doing what is right.
