²⁰Immediately he began proclaiming Jesus in the synagogues: “He is the Son of God.”^(A)

New International Version

²⁰At once he began to preach in the synagogues^(A) that Jesus is the Son of God.^(B)

²⁰And straightway he preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God.

⁸(for as he lived among them, that righteous man tormented himself day by day with the lawless deeds he saw and heard^(A))—

⁸(for that righteous man,^(A) living among them day after day, was tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard)—

⁸(For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)
