3 But Peter said, “Ananias, why has (A)Satan filled your heart to lie (B)to the Holy Spirit and (C)to keep back for yourself part of the proceeds of the land? 4 While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not at your disposal? Why is it that you have contrived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to men but (D)to God.” 5 When Ananias heard these words, he (E)fell down and breathed his last. And (F)great fear came upon all who heard of it.

3 Then Peter said, “Ananias, how is it that Satan(A) has so filled your heart(B) that you have lied to the Holy Spirit(C) and have kept for yourself some of the money you received for the land?(D) 4 Didn’t it belong to you before it was sold? And after it was sold, wasn’t the money at your disposal?(E) What made you think of doing such a thing? You have not lied just to human beings but to God.”(F)
5 When Ananias heard this, he fell down and died.(G) And great fear(H) seized all who heard what had happened.

4 Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.
5 And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things.
