⁴ Therefore ^(A)we ourselves boast about you ^(B)in the churches of God for your steadfastness and faith ^(C)in all your persecutions and in the afflictions that you are enduring.

¹⁴ For you, brothers, ^(A)became imitators of ^(B)the churches of God in Christ Jesus that are in Judea. For ^(C)you suffered the same things from your own countrymen ^(D)as they did from the Jews,

¹⁷ Only let each person lead the life ^(A)that the Lord has assigned to him, and to which God has called him. ^(B)This is my rule in ^(C)all the churches.
