⁴³ I beat them as fine as the dust^(A) of the earth;
    I pounded and trampled^(B) them like mud^(C) in the streets.

¹² look at all who are proud^(A) and humble them,^(B)
    crush^(C) the wicked where they stand.

⁵ Now I will tell you
    what I am going to do to my vineyard:
I will take away its hedge,
    and it will be destroyed;^(A)
I will break down its wall,^(B)
    and it will be trampled.^(C)

⁵ Together they^[a] will be like warriors in battle
    trampling their enemy into the mud of the streets.^(A)
They will fight because the Lord is with them,
    and they will put the enemy horsemen to shame.^(B)
