³¹ Then behold, the Cushite arrived, and the Cushite said, “Let my lord the king receive good news, for ^(A)the Lord has ^[a]freed you this day from the hand of all those who rose up against you.”

²⁴ this is the interpretation, O king, and this is the decree of the Most High, which has ^(A)come upon my lord the king:

¹⁶ And behold, ^[a](A)one who resembled a human was ^(B)touching my lips. Then I opened my mouth and spoke and said to him who was standing before me, “My lord, due to the vision ^[b](C)anguish has come upon me, and I have retained no strength.
