¹² therefore thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: Behold, I am bringing upon Jerusalem and Judah such disaster^[a] that the ears of everyone who hears of it ^(A)will tingle. ^13 (B)And I will stretch over Jerusalem the measuring line of Samaria, and the plumb line of the house of Ahab, and I will wipe Jerusalem as one wipes a dish, wiping it and turning it upside down.

¹² He has confirmed his words, which he spoke against us and against ^(A)our rulers who ruled us,^[a] by ^(B)bringing upon us a great calamity. ^(C)For under the whole heaven there has not been done anything like what has been done against Jerusalem.
