¹³ Still, the Lord warned^(A) Israel and Judah through every prophet and every seer, saying, “Turn from your evil ways and keep my commands and statutes according to the whole law I commanded your ancestors and sent to you through my servants the prophets.”^(B)

¹¹ So now, say to the men of Judah and to the residents of Jerusalem, ‘This is what the Lord says: Look, I am about to bring harm to you and make plans against you. Turn now, each from your evil way, and correct your ways and your deeds.’^(A)

¹⁵ Time and time again^[a] I have sent you all my servants the prophets, proclaiming, “Turn, each one from his evil way,^(A) and correct your actions. Stop following other gods to serve them.^(B) Live in the land that I gave you and your ancestors.” But you did not pay attention or obey me.^(C)

⁴ Do not be like your ancestors;^(A) the earlier prophets proclaimed to them:^(B) This is what the Lord of Armies says: Turn from your evil ways and your evil deeds.^(C) But they did not listen or pay attention to me—this is the Lord’s declaration.

²⁶ God raised up his servant^[a] and sent him first to you to bless you by turning each of you from your evil ways.”^(A)
