²⁸You save the humble,^(A)
but your eyes are on the haughty^(B) to bring them low.^(C)

²⁸And the afflicted people thou wilt save: but thine eyes are upon the haughty, that thou mayest bring them down.

²⁰But when his heart became arrogant and hardened with pride,^(A) he was deposed from his royal throne^(B) and stripped^(C) of his glory.^(D)

²⁰But when his heart was lifted up, and his mind hardened in pride, he was deposed from his kingly throne, and they took his glory from him:
