2 Chronicles 3:2-4
Common English Bible
2 He began building in the second month[a] of the fourth year of his rule. 3 Solomon laid the foundations[b] for these structures in order to build the temple of God. The length according to the old standard of measurement was ninety feet and the width thirty feet. 4 Across the front of the temple[c] was a porch as long as the temple was and thirty feet wide, and thirty feet[d] high. He covered the inside walls with pure gold.

2 He began building on the second day of the second month in the fourth year of his reign.(A)
3 The foundation Solomon laid for building the temple of God was sixty cubits long and twenty cubits wide[a](B) (using the cubit of the old standard). 4 The portico at the front of the temple was twenty cubits[b] long across the width of the building and twenty[c] cubits high.
He overlaid the inside with pure gold.
