14 He was buried in his own tomb that he had made for himself in the city of David. They laid him out in a coffin that was full of spices and various mixtures of prepared ointments;(A) then they made a great fire in his honor.(B)

19 This continued day after day until two full years passed. Then his intestines came out because of his disease, and he died from severe[a] illnesses. But his people did not hold a fire in his honor like the fire in honor of his fathers.(A)
