About the Elders

5 Therefore, as a fellow elder and witness^(A) to the sufferings of the Messiah and also a participant in the glory about to be revealed,^(B) I exhort the elders among you:

⁴ And when the chief Shepherd^(A) appears, you will receive the unfading crown^(B) of glory.

¹⁸ But grow in the grace and knowledge^(A) of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity.^[a](B) Amen.^[b]
