⁴⁶ “When they sin against You (for ^(A)there is no person who does not sin) and You are angry with them and turn them over to an enemy, so that ^[a]they take them away captive ^(B)to the land of the enemy, distant or near;

²⁰ Indeed, ^(A)there is not a righteous person on earth who always does good and does not ever sin.

¹⁰ as it is written:

²⁰ because ^(A)by the works ^[a]of the Law ^[b]none of mankind will be justified in His sight; for ^[c](B)through the Law comes ^[d]knowledge of sin.

¹⁶ nevertheless, knowing that ^(A)a person is not justified by works of ^[a]the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we may be justified by ^(B)faith in Christ and not by works of ^[b]the Law; since ^(C)by works of ^[c]the Law no ^[d]flesh will be justified.
