¹⁵ So the king did not listen to the people; ^(A)because it was ^[a]a turn of events from the Lord, ^(B)in order to establish His word which the Lord spoke through Ahijah the Shilonite to Jeroboam the son of Nebat.

² And Jeroboam said to his wife, “Now arise and ^(A)disguise yourself so that they will not know that you are the wife of Jeroboam, and go to ^(B)Shiloh. Behold, Ahijah the prophet is there, who ^(C)said regarding me that I would be king over this people.

^29 (A)Now the rest of the acts of Solomon, from the first to the last, ^(B)are they not written in the ^[a]records of Nathan the prophet, in the prophecy of Ahijah the Shilonite, and in the visions of ^[b]Iddo the seer concerning Jeroboam the son of Nebat?
