^23 (A)You were bought with a price; ^(B)do not become slaves of men.

¹³ Christ ^(A)redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us—for it is written, ^(B)“Cursed is everyone who is hanged ^(C)on a tree”—

^5 (A)to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive ^(B)adoption as sons.

⁹ And they sang ^(A)a new song, saying,

¹⁸ knowing that you ^(A)were ransomed from ^(B)the futile ways inherited from your forefathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold,

³ and they were singing ^(A)a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and before the elders. ^(B)No one could learn that song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth. ⁴ It is these who have not defiled themselves with women, for ^(C)they are virgins. It is these ^(D)who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These have been redeemed from mankind as ^(E)firstfruits for God and the Lamb,
