^19 (A)These were their offices for their ministry when they entered the house of the Lord according to the ordinance given to them through their father Aaron, just as the Lord God of Israel had commanded him.

¹⁴ Now according to the ordinance of his father David, he appointed ^(A)the divisions of the priests for their service, and ^(B)the Levites for their duties of praise and ministering before the priests according to the daily rule, and ^(C)the gatekeepers by their divisions at every gate; for this is what ^(D)David, the man of God, had commanded.

² And Hezekiah appointed ^(A)the divisions of the priests and the Levites by their divisions, each according to his service, both the priests and the Levites, ^(B)for burnt offerings and for peace offerings, to serve and to give thanks and to praise in the gates of the camp of the Lord.
