There was not anything in the ark except[a] the two tablets of stone which Moses had placed there at Horeb, where Yahweh made[b] a covenant with the Israelites[c] after they went out from the land of Egypt. 10 When the priests went out from the holy place, the cloud filled the house of Yahweh. 11 The priests were not able to stand to minister because of the presence of[d] the cloud, for the glory of Yahweh filled the house of Yahweh.

10 When the priests withdrew from the Holy Place, the cloud(B) filled the temple of the Lord. 11 And the priests could not perform their service(C) because of the cloud, for the glory(D) of the Lord filled his temple.
