26 Now then, God of Israel, let Your words, please, be confirmed, (A)which You have spoken to Your servant, my father David.
27 “But will God indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, (B)heaven and the [a]highest heaven cannot contain You, how much less this house which I have built! 28 Nevertheless, turn Your attention to the (C)prayer of Your servant and to his plea, Lord, my God, to listen to the cry and to the prayer which Your servant prays before You today,

How much less this temple I have built! 28 Yet give attention to your servant’s prayer and his plea for mercy, Lord my God. Hear the cry and the prayer that your servant is praying in your presence this day.
