²⁰ Strike them with terror,^(A) Lord;
    let the nations know they are only mortal.^(B)

⁶ “I said, ‘You are “gods”;^(A)
    you are all sons of the Most High.’
⁷ But you will die^(B) like mere mortals;
    you will fall like every other ruler.”

⁹ Will you then say, “I am a god,”
    in the presence of those who kill you?
You will be but a mortal, not a god,^(A)
    in the hands of those who slay you.^(B)
