¹² So it will be that when the Lord has completed all His ^(A)work on Mount Zion and on Jerusalem, He will say, “I will ^[a]punish the fruit of the arrogant heart of the king of Assyria and ^(B)the arrogant pride of his eyes.”

¹³ then say to them, ‘This is what the Lord says: “Behold, I am going to fill all the inhabitants of this land—the kings who sit for David on his throne, the priests, the prophets, and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem—with ^(A)drunkenness!

^6 [a]Utterly ^(A)kill old men, young men, female virgins, little children, and women, but do not ^(B)touch any person on whom is the mark; and you shall ^(C)start from My sanctuary.” So they started with the ^[b]elders who were before the ^[c]temple.

¹⁷ For it is time for judgment ^(A)to begin ^[a]with ^(B)the household of God; and if it ^(C)begins ^[b]with us first, what will be the outcome for those ^(D)who do not obey the ^(E)gospel of God?
