⁴⁶ And Jesus cried with a great voice and said, Father, into your hands I commit my spirit. And when he had thus spoken, he gave up the spirit.

⁴⁷ When the centurion saw what had happened, he glorified God, saying, Surely this was a just man. ⁴⁸ And all the people who came together to that sight, beholding the things that were done, smote their breasts and returned home.
