⁴⁵ and the sun was darkened. And the veil of the temple did tear, right through the middle. ⁴⁶ And Jesus cried with a great voice and said, Father, into your hands I commit my spirit. And when he had thus spoken, he gave up the spirit.

⁴⁷ When the centurion saw what had happened, he glorified God, saying, Surely this was a just man.
