A New Creation

²⁶ His voice shook the earth at that time, but now He has promised, Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also heaven.^{(A)[a] 27} This expression, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of what can be shaken^(B)—that is, created things—so that what is not shaken might remain.

¹³ But based on His promise, we wait for the new heavens and a new earth,^(A) where righteousness will dwell.^(B)

The New Creation

21 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth,^(A) for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea no longer existed.^(B)
