⁴ so shall the ^(A)king of Assyria lead away the Egyptians as prisoners and the Ethiopians as captives, young and old, naked and barefoot, ^(B)with their buttocks uncovered, to the shame of Egypt.

^26 (A)And I will deliver them into the hand of those who seek their lives, into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and the hand of his servants. ^(B)Afterward it shall be inhabited as in the days of old,” says the Lord.

¹⁹ Therefore thus says the Lord God: ‘Surely I will give the land of Egypt to ^(A)Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; he shall take away her wealth, carry off her spoil, and remove her pillage; and that will be the wages for his army.
