¹⁸ and burn the whole ram on the altar. It is a burnt offering to the Lord. It is a ^(A)pleasing aroma, a food offering^[a] to the Lord.

³¹ And ^(A)all its fat he shall remove, ^(B)as the fat is removed from the peace offerings, and the priest shall burn it on the altar for a ^(C)pleasing aroma to the Lord. ^(D)And the priest shall make atonement for him, and he shall be forgiven.

²¹ And when the Lord smelt ^(A)the pleasing aroma, the Lord said in his heart, “I will never again ^(B)curse^[a] the ground because of man, for ^(C)the intention of man's heart is evil from his youth. ^(D)Neither will I ever again strike down every living creature as I have done.
