¹³ “In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man,^[a](A) coming^(B) with the clouds of heaven.^(C) He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence.

²⁷ For the Son of Man^(A) is going to come^(B) in his Father’s glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what they have done.^(C)

³⁰ “Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth^[a] will mourn^(A) when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven,^(B) with power and great glory.^[b]

⁶⁴ “You have said so,”^(A) Jesus replied. “But I say to all of you: From now on you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One^(B) and coming on the clouds of heaven.”^[a](C)

³⁰ “It will be just like this on the day the Son of Man is revealed.^(A)

⁷ Therefore you do not lack any spiritual gift^(A) as you eagerly wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed.^(B)

¹⁹ For what is our hope, our joy, or the crown^(A) in which we will glory^(B) in the presence of our Lord Jesus when he comes?^(C) Is it not you?

¹⁶ For the Lord himself will come down from heaven,^(A) with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel^(B) and with the trumpet call of God,^(C) and the dead in Christ will rise first.^(D)

¹⁷ After that, we who are still alive and are left^(A) will be caught up together with them in the clouds^(B) to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord^(C) forever.
