Daniel 3:28-30

²⁸Nebuchadnezzar responded and said, “Blessed be the ^(A)God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, who has ^(B)sent His angel and rescued His servants who put their ^(C)trust in Him, ^[a]violating the king’s command, and surrendered their bodies ^(D)rather than serve or worship any god except their own God. ²⁹Therefore I ^(E)make a decree that any people, nation, or population of any language that speaks anything offensive against the God of ^(F)Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego shall be torn limb from limb and their ^(G)houses made a rubbish heap, because there is ^(H)no other god who is able to save in this way.” ³⁰Then the king ^(I)made Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego prosperous in the province of Babylon.

They trusted^(C) in him and defied the king’s command and were willing to give up their lives rather than serve or worship any god except their own God.^(D) ²⁹Therefore I decree^(E) that the people of any nation or language who say anything against the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego be cut into pieces and their houses be turned into piles of rubble,^(F) for no other god can save^(G) in this way.”
